Licensing
Reptiles are protected in all states and territories of Australia. To keep reptiles legally, you will generally have to obtain a licence from the relevant fauna authority.
Each of the state-specific pages below has a link to the appropriate page on the relevant fauna authority's web site. It appears that these fauna authorities have nothing better to do than constantly reorganise their web sites, so don't be surprised if the page has disappeared. If you find outdated links on the pages below, please let me know.
