Frequently Asked Questions | |||
This page should answer most (and possibly even all) of the questions you have about AHC. If, after reading this, you have any other questions, please email us.
Why are listings disabled after four weeks?
This is so the classifieds don't get clogged up with outdated listings of animals.
If, after four weeks, your animal still hasn't been sold, you can log in and re-enable your ad.
To do this, log in to myAHC. On the page that displays a list of your ads, select the "Refresh" checkbox
for each ad you'd like to re-enable. Then click the "Update" button, and Robert's your Mother's brother.
Why are some of my ads in myAHC red?
This means they are disabled because they are older than 4 weeks. Disabled ads WON'T show up in AHC searches.
To find out how you can re-enable them, see above.
How do I change my details (like my phone number and password)?
Log in to the myAHC section of the site, and click the "Edit My Details" or "Edit My Password" link.
Can I have a picture with my ad?
Yes! You can now upload your own images in the myAHC section of the site.
After you've logged in you will see a list of all your ads. On the far right-hand-side there's an 'upload' link that will take you to the image upload screen.
I've sent you a pic, but it's not with my ad
That's not actually a question. You no longer need to email us your pictures. You can now upload your
own images in the myAHC section of the site.

I have a suggestion. Who do I talk to?

What other Australian "For Sale" sites are out there?
Here are a couple:
What sets AHC apart from the others?
As far as we can tell, AHC was the first (it started on the 16th of March, 2000) online For Sale site for reptiles and amphibians in Australia.
It started as a simple, manually updated page, and has progressed over time to this snazzy database-driven site.
